Why spot cleaning a carpet yourself is bad ...... Regardless of what you spill or are trying to clean up, when you blot it up ( hopefully not rub ), that's good. Then you add that magic cleaner ( the one that says it will clean hundreds of different stains, or your money back )
Regardless of what you spill or are trying to clean up, when you blot it up ( hopefully not rub ), that's good. Then you add that magic cleaner ( the one that says it will clean hundreds of different stains, or your money back ). OK, now we have the original staining substance and the cleaner you just applied, all mixed together. Now, how do we get that all out ?????? You can't, as a result, if you add enough cleaner you can push the stain deep down so you can't see it , until it dries, then it's back again. Also that detergent that's in your carpet will act just like you shampooed your hair and blotting it dry........ Not a good feeling. Stiff and sticky fibers will just attract soil to it and now you'll have a dirt stain covering the real stain underneath it that is settling in to stay and may never come out. We not only will use the correct cleaner for that specific type of stain but once the stain is broken down, we will rinse it to remove both the stain and any residual to leave you with a clean carpet that stays clean.
